On this page I will talk about differences between Germany and the united States. I live here in Kentucky for about half a year. A lot of things change your whole live, but it is a lot of fun. On the picture to the left you see me and my Hostmother in Kings Island. I live together with my hostmother my hostfather an two sisters. I hhad to get used to it but now it's great. In Germany I didn't have sistters or brothers until about 8 months ago my little sister was born. Iam looking forward to see her.#>
I'm 16 years old, from Bochum,Germany.

The first weeks

The picture on the left shows my hostsister Veronica from Ecuador. How does it feel to live with, first totally srangers? Thats the most often asked question. Well, I think it was not hard for me to adapt. My family is great and I feel like home. The first time of corse was difficult for me. I could't really talk, and understanding the kentucky accent is not the easiest thing too. In school the teachers spoke too fast and I did't think that i could do anything. But after a week or two you get used to the land and the language. Of corse you can't speak perfect but everydat is like studying in an English class. However it is a lot more fun.
